Summer Lights, Conversation [1/3]

The Kumiho is a Korean fox spirit. Like her sister spirits in Japan and China, she is is gifted with great longevity and is known for assuming (or stealing) the form of a beautiful young woman and then seducing unwary men. While in earlier times the Kumiho could be a benevolent spirit, it is now largely known as a dangerous one, fond of eating human flesh, especially livers. But the Kumiho can be redeemed. Some tales say that if a Kumiho abstains from killing or eating the flesh of humans for 1000 days, she can become fully human.
